Introducing Neighborhood New Assistant Pastor

Rev. Roger L. Washington

Rev. Washington was introduced to Christ by his mother Mona L. Washington at an early age at the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church where he became baptized at the age of 13

Rev. Washington was an active member of the Children's Choir, Young Adult Choir, Young Peoples Auxiliary (YPA), Shepherd Boys League, Junior Usher Board, Junior Deacon, Vacation Bible School, Sunday and the Gospel Choir.

Rev. Washington will be working with the Christian Education Committee as the Senior High Sunday School Teacher. And, from the response of his students, Rev. Washington has been well received. His other duties will include working with several other committees and they are Higher Education, Brothers and Sisters, Evangelism, Tutorial Program, and Children and Youth.
